Processing personal data for payments on external payment providers

Masterchannel processes personal data from the payment processing service provided by PayPal, in order to fulfil the customer's order. Personal data processed may be names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses and invoice information. The legal basis for processing this data is the agreements Masterchannel has entered into with each collaboration partner and contractor.

Monetization of personal data

Masterchannel will never sell personal data to third parties. We may sell anonymized usage data to third parties. If the user gives consent on the Webpage, this data may include personal information. Otherwise it will be anonymized.

This website is using Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with the customer support of Masterchannel AS. We collect email addresses and names when a user is logged in. The messages and data exchanged are stored within the Tidio application. For more information, please refer to their Privacy Policy. Masterchannel AS is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users registered issues or inquiries.


We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures ensuring that personal data is processed at a level of security appropriate to the risk, e.g. ensuring confidentiality, availability and integrity of personal data.

We do not disclose and/or share your personal data to third parties except where it is necessary for fulfilling our legal obligations.

Masterchannel uses Google Analytics and Hotjar to track user activity on the Website. This activity cannot be linked to individuals and is anonymized. We have secured that the processing is in accordance with the requirements of GDPR by entering into data processing agreements with the data processor. The data processing agreements also ensure that the personal data is not used for any other purpose.
